Check out this week’s happenings!
We have two new covers this week for some highly anticipated romance novels! I was super excited to see the cover for Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas, which I’ve been eagerly anticipating ever since I read the sample chapter that was sent out around the time her last book was released. It was sooooo good, and I’m excited to see a gorgeous cover to go with it, though I’ll admit I prefer the cover for Devil in Spring.
EW revealed the cover along with an interview with Lisa Kleypas, which I thought was really interesting and would recommend reading here.
The other cover that was revealed this week was for Hurts to Love You by Alisha Rai. This is the third book in the Forbidden Hearts series, and I’m so excited for the second one that I included it in my list of most anticipated fall releases.

Have you seen PB Teen’s new Harry Potter collection? I’m just going to quote BookRiot, where I first saw the article, and say “Take. My. Money.”
Overdrive did an AMA on Reddit a few weeks ago, but the thread was so massive that I put off going through it until this week. It’s a really interesting read, especially if you’d like to learn more about how digital library books work and some of Overdrive’s other services. I’m a HUGE fan of Overdrive, so I highly recommend downloading the app if your library has an account with Overdrive.
For those whose libraries don’t have Overdrive, I saw a link in the AMA with a list of libraries that let out-of-state residents pay a fee in order to access their services, which you can check out here, though I’m not sure if you still need to be a U.S. resident.
I also stumbled across an older article this week written by Maggie Stiefvater about what it’s like from the other side of the signing table. I particularly enjoyed it since I’ve recently been to a few author signings (including for Roxane Gay and Leigh Bardugo) and have plans to go to a few more over the next few months.
