Let’s Talk: Romance Covers

As you might know if you’ve spent much time on my blog, I’m a big romance reader. But interestingly enough, I’ve never really cared much about romance covers. If I were to do a post all about cover love (like this one I did about books I read for the cover), it’d mostly feature YA or other fiction books, but definitely no romance. But there are a lot of gorgeous romance covers coming out lately, so I figured I’d share some of my newfound excitement with you!

My Bad Buying Habits: What I’ve Learned from Culling My TBR

As you might have noticed if you’ve been around my blog for any length of time, I’m a bit obsessed with trying to get down to a zero TBR. In fact, that’s pretty much my only goal for this year (though I have to admit I’ve been slacking lately). And while a significant part of that involves reading the books I own, it didn’t take me long to realize that the fastest way to get to a zero TBR is to get rid of what I own and stop buying new books. Why I Want a Zero TBR

I’ve talked before on my blog about wanting to shrink my TBR pile, but it’s a topic I wanted to revisit in light of Olive from abookolive’s recent video, “I don’t want a zero TBR,” and Rincey’s response on the Book Riot channel in the video “What is your ideal TBR number?

Plus it’s just something I’ve been thinking about a lot more lately as I work on sticking to my goals of reading four books a month from my 2017 TBR pile and reading all of the books I purchase in 2018 within three months of bringing them home. Continue reading
