There was a tweet making the rounds earlier this week asking what author people own the most books by, and of course I couldn’t just straight up answer the question and move on. I wanted to get technical and talk about all of the authors I own a lot of books by! So I figured I’d turn this into its own blog post. Continue reading

Black Lives Matter: What I’m Doing as a Reader and Blogger
I’ve been pretty vocal on Twitter about my support for Black Lives Matter, but I want to make sure and register that here on my blog since it’s such an important platform for me. Keep reading to learn more about things I’ve already been doing to support Black authors, and steps I’m planning to take in the future to do better. Continue reading
Book Haul Round Two
I wasn’t planning to do another book haul post, but I ordered so many more books that it seemed worth the time! Keep reading to see what I all have to find room on my shelves for. Continue reading
Most Anticipated Books of Summer 2020
While there are definitely less things to look forward to than usual, fortunately there are still a ton of great books slated to come out this summer! Keep reading to see what romances I’m most excited to get my hands on in the coming months. Continue reading
Let’s Talk: Authors Revisiting Old Series (Yes, I’m Talking About Midnight Sun)
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Stephenie Meyer recently announced the publication of Midnight Sun, her much hyped retelling of Twilight from Edward’s point of view. And while the internet is freaking out in anticipation, I…could not care less. Continue reading
Reading by Series vs Trope
This is a problem that I think is largely unique to romance, but do you tend to read more in order of a series, or skip around based on the trope you like? Growing up I had favorite authors from whom I’d read anything, but when looking into new books, I didn’t worry at all about the book being part of a series, and instead read whichever one sounded most interesting to me. Continue reading
When Old Meets New: For the Roses and Hold Me
I’m back with another pair of reviews for my When Old Meets New reading project with Jenica at Firewhiskey Reader! The historicals we’ve been reading have gone steadily downhill, to the point where neither of us was able to finish For the Roses by Julie Garwood. Fortunately Hold Me by Courtney Milan is excellent, which saved this round from being a complete disaster!
Book Haul
I have a well-documented history of not buying a lot of physical books (check out my post about hitting a zero TBR here), and I’ve always been kind of averse to sharing book hauls for a number of reasons. But as bookstores face harder and harder times, I’ve been trying to do what I can to support them, and I thought it’d be fun to share some of my purchases here! Continue reading
KissCon TBR Check-In
In the grand scheme of everything that’s been happening lately, the delay of KissCon is a pretty minor blip on the radar. But it’s something I was really looking forward to and I’m pretty bummed it’s been pushed back until August (fingers crossed that’s it can still happen then!). The silver lining, though, is that I have more time to make progress on my KissCon TBR, so I thought it’d be fun to do a quick check-in on that! Continue reading
Let’s Talk: Comfort Reads
These are strange and scary times. While we all look for comfort where we can, I thought I’d take some time to talk about comfort reads, and what I’ve been reading over the past few weeks. Continue reading
