I moved a few months ago, and it was a pretty momentous move because I now have enough room for all of the books I’ve been storing in my closet at my parents’ house for YEARS! It’s very exciting! But now that I’ve been reunited with all of these books, I’ve realized that there are A LOT, and I don’t think it sparks joy anymore to keep them all. With the annual Romance Writers of America conference in town this past week, there were a plethora of amazing romance events to go to! I tend not to write recaps of book signings I go to these days, but I’m so excited about all of the events I went to last week that I couldn’t not write a post (or two) about them all!
I saw this tag on Beth’s blog, Reading Every Night, a while ago and thought it’d be a fun idea, although at the time I couldn’t choose between doing a fantasy-themed one and a romance-themed one since those are two of my favorite genres. But I was looking for some sort of tag to pair with the romance giveaway I’m announcing at the end of this post, so romance it is!
The November topic for the Monthly Recommendations Goodreads group (which you can check out here) is books I’m thankful for. I don’t think there will be any major surprises here, as a lot of my most beloved books growing up were incredibly popular, but it was still a lot of fun to look through my shelves and reflect on which books I’m most grateful for.
