So I had intended to keep my December TBR pretty short in order to give myself the freedom to read whatever I feel like, and yet it still somehow wound up being pretty long? What the heck? Continue reading

Currently Reading: October 10, 2018
I’ve let my blog lapse a bit the last few weeks, but I thought I’d jump back in with a post about what I’ve been reading lately! At one point I was in the middle of seven books, so there’s a lot to talk about.
August TBR
The list of books I want to read in August is so ridiculously long, I can’t imagine there’s any way I’m actually going to get through them all. But hopefully I can at least make a good dent! Continue reading
Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag
I wasn’t planning to do the Mid-Year Book Freak Out Tag until after the halfway point of the year, but since my inbox is full of other bloggers doing this tag and I don’t want to miss out, I’m jumping on the bandwagon and doing it now, too! Continue reading
10 Authors Whose Backlists I Need to Read
I’ve been wanting to put this list together for a while because I keep reading books and thinking “I need to read everything this author has ever written!” But it’s so easy to forget about them in the onslaught of new releases, and they get pushed to the bottom of my TBR. So today’s post is all about authors whose backlists I would like to eventually finish reading. Continue reading
Makeup Book Tag
Chelsea from chelseadolling reads did the Makeup Book Tag a few weeks ago on her channel, and even though I think it’s a tag that lends itself better to YouTube than blogging, I don’t care! I love makeup and thought this tag sounded like a lot of fun, so here we are. Continue reading

It’s time for another season of my most anticipated new releases! I’m so excited about all of the new books coming out in the next three months it’s almost ridiculous. I want these books now!! Continue reading
January Wrap Up Part 2
Ack, I have so many books to talk about from the second half of the month. Seriously, I thought splitting my monthly wrap ups in two would keep them at a more reasonable length, but I have a bunch of books to talk about today, so settle in for a longer post! Continue reading
2018 Read Harder Challenge Ideas
So my plan was to casually follow along with the 2018 Book Riot Read Harder Challenge and use it as an excuse to research different books I might not have found otherwise, but after reviewing the tasks for this year and putting together the list below, I’m kind of thinking I might push myself to go for it again! We’ll see. But I’ll definitely be fulfilling a number of the tasks below! Continue reading
18 Books to Read in 2018
I debated whether to put this list together because 18 books is a lot! And I’m concerned that it will wind up just being stressful for me to give myself a list like this. But one of my main goals in 2018 is to read more diversely across authors and genres, and putting this list together is a good way to remind myself to prioritize some of these books. Plus a few are ones I’ve been meaning to read for ages but just never get around to, so I really do need to read those in 2018! Continue reading
