Ok, so this post is more than a month behind, because it’s meant to cover December, January, and February releases, but better late than never! I just started putting together a list of books I’m planning to pick up in the coming months and thought I’d just formalize it into a blog post! Continue reading

Favorite Books of 2020
While I lamented how little I read this year in my 2020 recap post, I still read a fair amount overall, so there’s a lot to choose from for my favorites! I enjoyed a number of books immensely this past year (and will give them a shoutout in this post!), but there are a few that standout as some new all-time favorites that I’m sure to reread. Mid-Year Book Freakout Tag
It’s that time again! I think it is literally impossible to see this tag make the rounds and not participate myself, so here we are for the third year in a row! Continue reading
This Is My Genre: Fantasy Edition
I did this book tag almost a year ago and, while I had a hard time picking which genre to focus on, I ultimately decided on doing a romance tag. But I’ve been meaning to do a fantasy version of the tag ever since, and after way too long, I’m finally going for it! Continue reading
Monthly Recs: Mash Up
It’s been a bit since I’ve done a Monthly Recommendations post (be sure to check out the Goodreads group here!), but I’m back with a really fun one asking us to spotlight one book from each of the 11 topics that have been featured this year! Continue reading
Do I Have That Book Challenge
I haven’t done a tag post in such a long time, but I’ve been wanting to do one for a while and realized when I started trying to answer the questions is Kayla’s Do I Have That Book Challenge video that it was the perfect tag post to do!
The 10 Longest Books I’ve Read
I still can’t get over how long Kingdom of Ash was, so I thought it might be fun in recognition of my finally wrapping up the Throne of Glass series to put together a blog post about some of the longest books I’ve read. Spoiler alert: At 992 pages, Kingdom of Ash takes fourth place! Continue reading
September/October Wrap Up
I took so long to get around to putting my September wrap up together that I decided to just roll it up with my October wrap up. So be prepared for lots of books!! Continue reading
Review: Kingdom of Ash
So I hesitate to call this a review, because it’s mostly just a massive ramble about the final book in the Throne of Glass series. But I have too many thoughts not to put together some sort of post about this book. I’ve been waiting for it for so long!!
I’ll start with a few spoiler-free thoughts. Overall, I really enjoyed Kingdom of Ash and thought it was a decent end to the series. In fact, I generally found it more satisfying than the end of the A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy, though I think I prefer that series to Throne of Glass. I’m a big fan of both, though, don’t get me wrong! Continue reading
October TBR
The weight of my tbr is feeling particularly crushing right now, which has motivated me to make overly ambitious plans for my October. I definitely won’t read all of these, but I know I’m going to get to at least a few! Continue reading
