Arc Roundup: Beauty Tempts the Beast, Her Night with the Duke, Spoiler Alert

In case you missed it on Twitter, I got a puppy! His name is Darcy, and he’s adorable, but wow is he a handful! I also started a new job recently, so between those two big life changes, I’m not reading and reviewing a ton these days, which is why I’m getting this blog post up later than I’d like. But better late than never! Keep reading for my thoughts on the latest historicals from Lorraine Heath and Diana Quincy as well as Olivia Dade’s new contemporary romance. Continue reading

My KissCon TBR

I’m SO EXCITED to be going to KissCon again next spring! I made it a point last year to read a bunch of books by some of the different authors attending so I would know who they are on panels and be able to get my books signed and figured I’d do the same thing again this year. Only this time, I decided to make a post about it instead of just putting together a list in my notebook! Continue reading

Arc Roundup: The Right Swipe, The Wallflower Wager, The Duchess in His Bed + The Real Deal

It’s time for another arc roundup! This month’s post includes a contemporary from Alisha Rai, featuring a female app developer, a delightfully hilarious historical from Tessa Dare, the latest in Lorraine Heath’s Sins for All Seasons series, and a bonus fake relationship contemporary from Lauren Blakely, a new-to-me author. Spoiler alert: I think the Tessa Dare book might be one of my favorites of the year! Continue reading

RWA Recap: Panels and Signings and Games, Oh My

With the annual Romance Writers of America conference in town this past week, there were a plethora of amazing romance events to go to! I tend not to write recaps of book signings I go to these days, but I’m so excited about all of the events I went to last week that I couldn’t not write a post (or two) about them all!

January Wrap Up Part 1

Another month, another wrap up! Unfortunately I can’t say my 2018 reading got off to the most perfect start, but then it took off dramatically and I’ve read a few amazing books that I’m really excited to talk about. Continue reading

January TBR

As I mentioned in my 2018 Reading Goals post, I want to make sure and read at least three books from my shelves that I had at the beginning of 2018, plus I want to make sure and read books within three months of purchase, so my TBRs going forward are going to reflect those goals. Continue reading

Traveling with Books

I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting a magical bag like Hermione’s where I can store a ton of books without them being too heavy or taking up too much space. Alas, that’s not possible, and since I inevitably wind up bringing home more than I initially packed when I travel (especially at Christmas), I try to restrict how many books I take with me.  Continue reading

December Wrap Up Part 1

I’ve been busy reading a lot of books in December! Enough that I think it makes sense to break my wrap up in two again so that it doesn’t get to be one massive, overwhelming post at the end of the month. Continue reading

December TBR

How is it (almost) December already?! I just don’t understand. I’m so excited, though, because I love the holiday season! New Yorkers really go all out in their decorating, so you really get the holiday atmosphere here, plus I love going back to North Dakota for Christmas, where my mom also crazy decorates for Christmas. It’s so fun! And it’s my birthday this month, so what’s not to love about December? But you’re here to talk books, so let’s get to it! Continue reading
